Building a Sustainable Future Together
Innovative solutions. Meaningful impact. Shared success.
How GoEko Was Born
GoEko was born from a key observation made by our founder, Raphaël Herrera, during his Master’s in Sustainable Development in 2021: SMEs were being left behind in the ecological transition. Recognizing the urgency for both the planet and business viability, he envisioned a simple, effective way to connect these companies with the cleantech providers and financing they needed.
The idea, initially a Master’s project, became an entrepreneurial mission when co-founder Daniel Eskenazi joined the adventure. They officially launched the startup in Geneva in July 2022, backed by a multidisciplinary team of experts and renowned Swiss organizations like Fongit and Innosuisse, launching the GoEko platform in early 2024.
Today, it already had close to 100 users in Switzerland, France, and Spain.

GoEko’s Journey
Idea
In 2021, Raphaël identified a major challenge: SMEs were lagging behind and hesitant to start their ecological transition, a critical step for the planet and their long-term viability.
Foundation
GoEko was born from Raphaël’s Master’s project in Sustainable Finance. The initiative gained momentum when Daniel joined as co-founder. Officially founded in Geneva in July 2022, the startup assembled a multidisciplinary team and an advisory board of experts in finance, CSR, and cloud technologies to move the mission forward.
Support
GoEko began receiving support from several renowned Swiss organizations, including FONGIT, OPI, and Innosuisse.
Launch the Platform!
GoEko launched its B2B platform for the construction and real estate sectors in summer 2024, accelerating the ecological transition for companies in Switzerland, France, and Spain.
Now
Since its launch, GoEko has attracted around 100 users. By 2025, the platform will expand to two more countries, driving sustainability and greener practices across borders.
Partnerships and Collaboration
At GoEko, collaboration is key. We work closely with cleantech providers, banks, and industry leaders to deliver cutting-edge sustainable business solutions.
Our partnerships contribute to a robust ecosystem that accelerates global sustainability and empowers businesses to succeed in a rapidly evolving market.
As part of this approach, GoEko has partnered with the startup Emissium, which offers real-time software to calculate CO₂ emissions linked to energy consumption. The tool is available free of charge for the first five companies.
